IJBPR accepts research and review articles in the fields of Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Indian Journal of Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Research (IJBPR) is a Bimonthly published online Journal, which publishes innovative research papers, short communications and reviews articles dealing with Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Sciences.

The papers should be original and comprise previously unpublished research. Submission of a manuscript implies that the same is not being considered for publication elsewhere.

All manuscripts are subject to rapid peer review and those of high quality (not previously published and not under consideration for publication in another journal) will be published without delay. A manuscript number will be mailed to the corresponding author within 48 hours.

COVER LETTER

During submission of the article, a cover letter and expert approval letter should be included having :

Authors full address and telephone/fax number.

The corresponding author should mention the undertaking that if any animal studies carried was in accordance with their country or institutional ethical committee and also state that the manuscript has not been published elsewhere.

Fill the cover letter, sign it and send along with your manuscript. Without Cover letter, your manuscript will not be considered for publication.

PREPARATION OF MANUSCRIPT

The manuscript should be prepared in English using “MS Word” with 1-inch margin on all sides (Top, Bottom, Left and Right side) of the page. “Times New Roman” font should be used. The font size should be of 12pt, but main subheadings may be of 14pt (Times New Roman). All research articles should be typed 2 spacing and should have the following sections:

Title page, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials and methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgement, References.

TITLE PAGE

The title should appear on a separate page which should then followed by the author name and the institution name and address by indicating suitable superscripts.

The title should be as brief and informative as possible, specifying clearly the content of the article. • Full names of authors and their affiliations, of all authors, indicating the corresponding author in astriek mark (*). Paper Title: CAPITAL LETTERS. 14 point type, Bold (Times New Roman) Author(s): First Letter Capital, 12 point type, Bold (Times New Roman) Corresponding author has the responsibility to ensure that all co-authors are aware and approve the contents of the submitted manuscript.

ABSTRACT

Abstract should start with a new page after the title page and should be typed in single-space to distinguish it from the Introduction and it should not be exceeding 250 words.

KEYWORDS

Provide 4 to 5 appropriate keywords after abstract. These keywords should be typed at the end of the abstract.

INTRODUCTION

It should be a concise statement of the background to the work presented, including relevant earlier work, suitably referenced.

MATERIALS AND METHODS

All important materials and types of equipment, the manufacturer’s name and, if possible, the location should be provided. The methods used in the study shall be described, citing references. The statistical method and the level of significance chosen shall be clearly stated.

RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

The important results of the work should be clearly by tables and figures. Results and discussion should be combined based. The statistical treatment of data and significance level of the factors should be stated wherever necessary. Tables, Graphs and figures should be inserted at the end of the manuscript and should have appropriate numbers and titles with an explanatory heading. Color photographs must be clear and sharp. (JPEG and TIFF formats are preferred).

CONCLUSIONS

Concisely summarizes the conclusions of the work and highlights the wider implications.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

Give details of the funding agency and institute which help in research work.

CONFLICT OF INTEREST

The author(s) has/have to declare that he/they has/have either conflict of interest or not.

REFERENCES

Reference citations in the text are typed as follows: (Kumar, 1971); (Singh et al. 1974), (Smith and Jones, 1977). Groups of references cited in a sentence in the text must be listed in chronological order as in the previous sentence. REFERENCES lists should be typed in alphabetical order. The reference list should be first sorted alphabetically by author(s) and secondly chronologically.

Author(s), year. Title. Journal title (full name and in italics) volume number (bold): page-page.

For Whole Books

Author(s), year. Title .(Ed.).Edition if any, Number of pages. Publisher, address.

For Chapters from Books

Author(s), year. Title. book title, editors (editors), Publisher, address. Page-page.

TABLES

Tables should be typed on a separate page and must be numbered with Arabic numerals in the order in which they are cited in the text. They should have a brief descriptive title placed at the top. Footnotes can be included below the table. Table caption should be 12 point Times New Roman italic.

FIGURES

Should be on separate pages but not inserted within the text. All figures must be referred to in the text and numbered with Arabic numerals in the sequence in which they are cited. Each figure must be accompanied by a legend explaining in detail the contents of the figure and are to be typed under the figures.

LEGENDS/CAPTIONS FOR FIGURES

Text type should be 12 point Times New Roman (eg; Figure 1. Caption). A caption should be provided for each figure. The legend should be typed into the manuscript, directly beneath the figure. Legends are to be listed in numerical order, labeled as “Figure 1”, “Figure 2”, etc.

REVIEW ARTICLE

Organization of the review article is at the author’s discretion and must be at a length of 3000 words excluding references and abstract. Abstract and keywords are required. Tables, figures, illustrations, and references are to be arranged according to research papers.

PUBLICATION FEE

Our eminent editorial board members and reviewers are working voluntarily for the development of the research field. The publication fee is charged for the cost of managing the journal website and management team. Payment procedure will be notified to the author through e-mail after the successful review process. The author(s) needs to pay below-mentioned charges excluding transaction charge as a publication fee for each accepted manuscript by the editorial board.
